Worlds Largest Magazine Cover - Maxim
In celebration of its 100th issue, in partnership with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Bureau, I went into the desert and laid out a huge copy of one of Maxim's most popular covers (Desperate Housewife Eva Longoria). Google Maps took aerial photos of the project for Google Earth. It took 15 hours to lay it out with 9 people, 25 hours to print out, and 125 stakes to hold it on the ground.
The cover was 75' x 125'. This was the largest and most successful promotion by Maxim and Las Vegas visitors bureau ever with over 600 million press impressions. It was picked up by all major news bureaus and TV stations.
