I thought I'd take a moment to explain my process for this project. First I started by taking a front view photo of a Hulk movie bust into Adobe Illustrator. I did some Image tracing and manual outlining. Next I placed it into Photoshop as a smart object. From there I experimented with several filters to try and achieve the look I liked. I settled for this process: smart sharpen filter (lightly) / switched blending mode to soft / applied glowing edges filter / applied oil paint filter / made a copy / flattened the copy / applied HDR adjustments to copy / copied and pasted copy in front of smart object (original version) / changed blending mode of copied image to the effect I wanted. I added the green background using the noise filter and radial blur set on zoom 100%. I plan to use and develop this technique further. Loved doing this, its part of my Avengers motion graphic Promo.
