Kahani Designworks is an award winning creative and design studio in Mumbai, India. For their third anniversary, they designed an abstract graphic and constructed it out of paper. To go digital, we split the abstract into parts and I animated them in After Effects with a short narrative based on the theme for the year: Craft, Passion and Insights.

The challenge here was to animate scanned pieces of paper in a digital format without using the stop-motion process. As a bonus I got to stretch my musical muscles and composed a track with my guitar and used garage band for the beats.
