Nike Football hosts a sponsored tab on influential Dutch football site Voetbalzone.nl and asked Momkai for a major restyling of its pages. The tab was set up to fit perfectly into Voetbalzone´s existing layout while keeping the content manageable through Mimoto CMS. The tab allows Nike to showcase their frequently updated line of products next to imagery and videos of players and teams sponsored by Nike.
In addition to the tab we developed a custom Smart-Ad banner that is shown throughout Voetbalzone alongside news articles. The interactive banner scans the article´s content and shows related Nike images and videos based on this scan, rendering relevant, targetted ads.
The tab is also used for several Nike campaigns for which we developed a number of custom pages and banners. One example was an online trash talk session between Sneijder and Van der Vaart leading up to their first ever match against each other. Their messages were posted on Twitter and integrated into a custom page on Voetbalzone.
