As part of my internship work with the Colorado Ice Indoor Football team I was responsible for producing programs for each home game. This work included front cover designs, sponsor advertisements and team pages. In previous years front and back covers were created by local marketing firms, while sponsor ads and team pages were typically generated by administrative staff. Below are examples the team pages as I redesigned them during 2013.
In designing the team pages I wanted to create an organized, professional and serious tone, and where possible, use space to communicate a feeling of quality and value. To achieve my goals I adopted specific fonts, colors, and layouts in print and on the web. Many of the same elements and graphics used in the program front covers were used in Web Banners and Facebook images.
In some cases team sponsors required advertisements to be designed from scratch. In most cases this meant communicating with the sponsors to understand their goals.
2013 Program Front Cover- I began the redesign of the programs from cover by stripping away as many things as I could. My goal was to create a cover that conveyed seriousness, tension and clarity and consistency. This same basic design is used on each program cover with only the dates and opposing team information changing.

2013 Featured Player/Featured Sponsor Page- This page was added to help reach the correct page count for printing, but also provides a place for fans to get a specific autograph after games.
