In the spring of 2018, I entered the Penguin Random House design award with this book cover. Although it has it's faults, I learned a lot from my own process on this project. The spark for the project was that I wanted to experiment with using paper cutting to create a three-dimensional effect.
This design was made physically from paper, photographed and then edited in Photoshop. I'd love to use this technique more in the future!
