Australian Ballet’s Cinderella Brochure
The Australian Ballet is a world premier ballet company based in Sydney, Australia. They have been performing in Australia and around the world for over 50 years. They define themselves as experiential and risk-takers in their industry and expect their designed collateral to speak to this.
AB’s next touring production is an adaptation of Cinderella aimed at children under 12 and their parents. They require a DL size promotional brochure to reflect the production’s spirited style. Due to cost restrictions, only 2 colours are to be used, however, they are open to any colours as long as their prime demographic will find it recognisable.
AB commissioned for all DL collateral, illustrations, typesetting, brochure creation, a design debrief including a diagnostic of paper stock which should be used. The brochure needed to utilise the small colour palette and stand out against similar advertising materials that it will be near.
