MORPHY RICHARDS ACCENTS
When working for Morphy Richards, the Accents toaster was designed which was cost sensitive in order to compete within the market at a key price point. The challenge was to create a toaster design that looked great without adding too much cost.
The majority of the body was made in PP, a low cost material that can withstand high temperatures, along with a SS304 stainless steel wrap toy tagged into position. The body could be moulded in various colours and the stainless steel wrap can be in either a polished or bushed finish. This provided Morphy Richards with the opportunity to create a number of SKU's with minimal tooling cost.
