Erik Videgård has driven a wide range of well-known restaurants such as Halv trappa plus gård, East and many more. With Videgård, he introduces the Nikkei kitchen. The roots of the Nikkei kitchen begins in the late 19:th century when immigrants from Japan moved to South America due to the industrilazation of the agriculture in Japan. Elegance and finesse from Japan in a hot-sour-sweet mix with Peruvian cuisine. The logo is based on the initials of Erik Videgård (E.V) and playfully illustrates a person, or a person eating at a table or whatever the viewer sees. The design as a whole depicts the two cultures, Japan and Peru, merged together as a reflection of the food served at Videgård.
