The Collectible Card Illustration project uses a north-west coast first nation stylized theme, to depict the nature forces revered by the native people of Canada. This as personal project intending to challenge the designer’s ability to adopt the local culture style of illustration and apply a unique creative direction to this style. The illustrations incorporate animals which relate to the ‘character’ of each disaster.

The use of bright colour palettes associates with the power that nature displays. The cards include a custom icon on the back to represent the disaster shown on the front.
