JaxParks, the Jacksonville Cultural Council and One Spark partnered to create a sculpture walk in the city’s Main Street Park in downtown Jacksonville. We interviewed the artists who created pieces for the destination and created videos. These videos lived on social media, but were also accessible via QR Codes places on the base of each statue. It’s our version of a walking tour - all need is a cell phone with a code reader app.
Jenny Hager, an art professor at the University of North Florida and accomplished artist, led the initiative for the artists. She obtained funding necessary to install the works. This is her own creation.
