This was the final project for my Digital Illustration class. The prompt was to simply create a 'machine flesh' character. This is the monster I ended up with! Base mesh and machine bits modeled in Maya, detail sculpting done in Mudbox. The basic story behind the Puppeteer is the horribly disfigured remains of a human slowly being taken over and controlled by the machine. Thus, puppet and puppeteer.
