CCPB is an exhibition that pushes the cynical and the hopeful together, entirely within the historic context it educates and illustrates. Visitors engage in a concrete maze built into an unassuming alleyway in Melbourne CBD, and are pushed through a journey that illuminates the underside of the city and the lives it cost, before providing a beautiful view of the city in question. It encourages question and critique of authority, and inspires hope that a corrupt system can be undone and something better may take its place.
