Travel & Leisure
The assignment was to redesign the editorial website of Travel + Leisure. These are fully (HTML & CSS) coded 2-page web design created for a travel photographer/blogger persona. The hero images feature not just the sceneries, but also the people and the activities. To make it more interactive, the user will be able to pick a desired destination, categorized by continents, through a map. The hero image also has inspirational travel quotes to inspire the user to visit a certain location. The website features the company’s Instagram account since it’s a useful tool for bloggers and photographers; when the user hovers over the image, it will show the location where the photo was taken. The photos of the destinations under a region have a polaroid pictures-inspired to it to add to the pleasing aesthetic designated for the target audience.
