Ode to the Late and Great

Overview: 

Shortly after Stephen Hawking passed, I created this photoquote image as a way to pay tribute to him and his contributions to the scientific world. I used photoshop to create the text and the image was taken by photographer Moe Chenn.

What I like:

The Varying text

Overall Layout

The cohesive nature of the piece

The added triangle decals

What I would change:

Blend 'Be Curious' into the photo better

Make the spacing more even

Play with transparency of certain words

Why I Included this Piece:

I believe this image displays my eye for typography. As an aspiring journalist, I have a knack for layout design. Additionally, it shows I am able to capture certain ideas through the use of varying fonts. Overall, the image pays tribute to my ability to curate a message through design.
