Body Mantle
This was an assignment for my 3D foundation class, in which you had to create a body mantle out of no more than two objects. I chose pipe cleaners as my one and only object of choice, as it’s very malleable and flexible, as well the ability of coming in many different colors. Struggling with ideas at first, I decided to create an “extravagant” hat. I believe this project turned out very successful as it made me learn how to create a functional wearable item out of one household item. I was able to grasp and understand three-dimensional shape and form, as well as continue to master craft along the way.
