The egg on the cover does not have one specific meaning, or even two. My concept is that, as one keeps reading and opening/closing the book, one would come up with various interpretations of the cover. Therefore, the egg could represent the Big Bang, the expansion of the universe, the increase of entropy with time, or it could even symbolize life or the beginning of something.
