This was an attempt at recreating "A Home in the Wilderness" by Sanford Gifford, and then applying a certain culture and/or period to the piece. upon further recreations. I applied Mayan shape language along with the idea of an industrial, grungy history. The final image has the "cartoon modern" aesthetic of the 1950s applied as well. Almost a '"what if" scenario if you will.
