The Client: PCP Clothing
PCP Clothing is a unisex clothing label that was founded in 2014 in Greece. Beginning in the city of Thessaloniki, PCP Clothing now has an international online presence.
The project: Illustrations and patterns for kids leggings collection (AW17/18)
Building the Characters
I wanted to create something, that kids would love to wear.
Something that will make them feel excited and happy.
Something that will make them laugh.
While I was trying to find my inspiration, the main idea of these illustrations came from my boyfriend's cute tattoo, which reminds me my sweet childhood.
As long as I remember myself, I was always drawing funny looking animals. So, my first pattern collection couldn't be something else than that.
Let me introduce you Simba the Lion, Bambi the Deer, and Tigger the Tiger!
Creating the Patterns
Triangles are my thing, and combining them with these strange funny looking characters, I created the final patterns for PCP AW 17 18 Kiddo Leggings Collection.
I think the reason that I love so much these illustrations, is that I finally produced something, which is 100% Kiki, for the cutest little angels.
