OMEN Editorial for Bast Magazine
Omen (meaning presage) is a series inspired by the 4 horsemen of the Apocalypse. They ride on white, red, black, and pale horses, representing Conquest, War, Famine and Death, respectively.This first horseman (conquest) represents the evil disguised as the savior, who will also return on a white horse. He is given the power to conquer everyone who oppose him.The second horsemen (war) comes on a red horse and he is given the power to bring war into the world and make people kill each other.The third horseman (famine) rides a black horse and he holds a scale to symbolize that everything has a price. He represents the famine that comes as a result of the war.The fourth horseman (death) represents the diseases spread after the famine and war in the world. He comes on a green/pale horse.
