Social Awareness Campaign
Do you know how much pens are thrown all around the world? Or how much wood is cut down to make pencils? Stationery may be small but they can make up an impact of an issue. Stationery wastage is an issue that isn't taken into account by most people. People don't often think about their usage of stationery and they are being thrown and wasted carelessly. Singapore's landfill waste can be reduced by a fraction if stationery waste can be cut down.
In order to address this issue, a group of students have came up with a campaign to encourage the public to stop stationery wastage. We have a box which collects unwanted stationery which are then recreated to give them new life. Bracelets will be made out of the stationery and they would be sold for charity. Initiating good habits of reduce, reuse and recycle will help to build a better environment for everyone.
