NOBLE New Mobile Architecture | 2013
The Noble mobile concept is an exploration in leveraging Bluetooth 4.0 for wireless audio
and charging applications to ruthlessly shave space hogging and size limiting ports.
No ports, jacks or removable components, with the exception of micro SIM, the
minimal, ultra-thin aluminum framed build would be a first for the smart phone market.
Uniquely, the charging base functions as a lamp for bed- side reading while allowing the phone to be positioned for upright viewing. Touching the top rim of the charging base turns on the light and a sliding motion controls for brightness creating intuitively natural interactions. Wake-up times can be synced with a unique combination of soft gradual light and sound.
