I started this piece by discussing with two new team members what they wished to share and convey with their audience. We decided that we wanted something that with abundant space for all the two had to say (which was a lot!) but it also needed to be inexpensive and practical for mailing. They also wanted a way for the recipients of the brochure to remember them and keep their information handy. I came up with this idea for a double gate-fold brochure. It was traditional enough that even the elderly recipients would understand its purpose, but its non-traditional layout provided us with more area for copy. The far right panel has a perforated card for removing placing somewhere visible like a fridge or a wallet. The card contained Zach and Christie's contact information, in hopes that the sponsors would see it often and become more acquainted with the new couple.
