Brief

In the last few years, many print magazines have been adapted and redesigned as apps for iPads, tablets, mobile devices etc. Sadly, many classic magazines such as ‘Design Week’ are no longer available in print version and only have a website.
Still being in the early days of digital design, many  magazine apps are just the print version reduced in size to fit in the screen of a tablet or a mobile phone. E-magazines should consider UX with interactivity, large images, videos, sounds etc.
The solution to this problem was to redesign the front cover,  the  contents page and a feature article for ‘Design Week’ e-magazine for the iPad. The article and front cover  should be based on the famous designer/architect/artist chosen. However, the e-magazine should also include interactivity, whether it is drop down boxes, buttons, videos, music, or large images. After designing the pages on InDesign, the pages should be placed on an iPad mockup and a small description should be written to show the interactivity that there is on the specific page. The fonts that were used for the magazine were Futura Bold for the titles and  Baskerville for the text.
