Howard Ramsay is the UK's last surviving independent model yacht restorer. He has dedicated years of his life to working solitarily and intimately to his project, each one demanding months of painstaking detail from material salvage to pain finishes.
While he rarely knows where his yacht are eventually housed, many are prized in stately homes, hotels, buildings of political significance and even hollywood film sets - with his authorship remaining completely anonymous.
This is a passion project where I got the chance to spend 3 days with Howard in his studio.
