PROJECTION ART & INSTALLATIONS
CUBES in 2016, from left-to-right: Dust-Off in Ottawa, IL; Decompression at Bottom Lounge in Chicago, IL; Lovethang in Champion Heights, Ohio
The CUBES originally debuted at Lakes of Fire 2016 under the title "Projected Surrealities." The project began as a simple 4-cubed visual installation and has grown over time to be a large interactive spectacle of light. Now with up to 8 cubes, this project has been featured and enjoyed at Chicago's Bottom Lounge, Park Grill, and many art events in the Midwest states including Ohio and Michigan. They are durable, easy to transport, and fun for all ages.

The CUBES are 2ft x 2ft corrugated plastic shapes that are bathed in light from a high contrast projector. Mapping allows different visuals for each side, and a MIDI controller is open to the audience for interactive manipulations. Currently, Resolume is the software used for both playback and mapping.

New footage is remixed with old footage to fit the theme of each event featuring CUBES. Their construction lends to many arrangements that fit any space or venue.
