Pop-Up Shop (Image Making) V2

For this project we were given the brief that we had to create a group of artworks to sell at a ‘Pop-Up Shop’ held at my college. We had free range over what we could do for this project. So, I decided that because I’d not really experimented with Photography before, that I would try using my own Photography to create something that I could sell.  So, I went round Sheffield with my camera and took many pictures of my surroundings and landmarks that I thought would look really good if sold. After I’d taken all the images I decided to make them black and white and I edited the levels to bring out the darker and lighter colours in Photoshop. I wanted to create something that I could sell to a large range of people of all ages, and I thought that Photography is a goof option when you want it to appeal to all audiences. I bought my images into Photoshop to edit them and enhance the colours, and then once I’d completed that I bought them into InDesign to create the layout. Overall this project was fun, because you do get free rein on what you could do.

Below are some examples of the images of Sheffield that I took and edited.
