The Cool Square and Cool Tempo are a development of standard catalogue products for Designed Architectural lighting. DAL are striving to corner the commercial LED lighting market. In collaboration with suppliers such as Phillips and Xicato we developed standard LED ranges. In this case we sourced a synjet heatsink that operates with reduced noise and vibration because it uses a diaphragm instead of a conventional cooling fan.

I designed the sheet metal frame, bezel and spun reflectors for easy and speedy assembly and allow for the asymmetrical housing of the Phillips LED. Where possible I allowed for reuse of parts.
