The goal was to get dog lovers to believe that shelter dogs are good dogs; they've just had some back luck.

We went to animal shelters around Ontario in search of these good dogs and their stories to share with the public.  There was an overwhelming number of dogs with sad stories.

We chose Bootsie and Phoenix as our hero dogs.  Their stories are true and unfortunately we even tamed them back.
 

I'm happy to say they were both adopted very quickly once the campaign launched and people saw their stories.

They truly are remarkable dogs.
