What’s your all time favorite Volkswagen?
Volkswagen is the best selling car brand in the Netherlands, but they didn't had that title yet on Facebook. To claim their throne our goal was to get as many Facebook likes as possible. So we asked the fans which is the most iconic Volkswagen ever: the Beetle or the T1 van? First model reaching 20.000 likes wins.

Before reaching the endgoal, several milestones were set. Each one revealing a new feature of the special facebook edition of the car. Because the models are from the sixties we translated every typical features into that era: photo’s are taken by a polaroid camera and pinned on your cork 'bulletin board' wall. Looking for a friend? Stop motion
What better way to animate these milestones than stop motion! Together with photographer Klaas Jan Timmerman and model maker Johan Bos we spend 8 days on set to create 27 unique animations. For more info watch the making of and some photo’s below.
