Dante's Inferno: A Scenographic Re-interpretation

Dante's Inferno
A Scenographic Re-interpretation
Scaled model of a scenographic reinterpretation of Dante's nine levels of Hell. Labyrinth-like and composed of irregular pieces of triangular wood pieces arranged in concentric circles.

In actual scale, these pieces were intended to tower over the average person. The width between each subsequent triangle is such that it only allows one person to walk through at any given time. Coloured in black, the intention was to merge cast shadows with real space, such that it conceals or creates illusion.
