Las Vegas Silver Devils Campaign Book
The Las Vegas Silver Devils campaign book gives the viewer a more in-depth look at the mission, goals, and design of the team. In this book, you will find the marketing campaigns and the elements that were used in each one. The campaign book shows the demographic that the Silver Devils is targeting and why they have chosen this market.
Hockey Player Mockup
The design of the Silver Devils jersey was fun to research and design. I created and distributed several surveys to see which design had the best response. I collected suggestions for sports fans to see what they look for in a team jersey and what makes them want to wear it.
LOGO Sketches
When it came to creating the logo for the Silver Devils I looked at other hockey team logos for inspiration. I noticed that many teams incorporate some symbols the represent hockey, usually a hockey stick. I decide to give that a try but I was not connecting with the design. Later I tried to incorporate a hockey puck into the logo, some of the designs were quite interesting but weren't there yet. Soon I tried to take out the element of hockey and focused on what made Las Vegas stand
out from other cities and turned my sketch towards that.
Final LOGO Design
Designing the Silver Devils logo was a bit labor intensive. I wanted to come up with a logo that strong and exciting, but also a bit playful and mischievous. The logo is a combination of two well know elements of Las Vegas and Nevada. Nevada is known as the silver state due to its silver mines, and Las Vegas is known as Sin City. By combining these two well know facts, the Siver Devil logo was born.
