Esta es la primera vez que se hace esta competencia en mi pais (Venezuela) y fui inscrito en la categoria DESIGN por la agencia en la que trabajo actualmente junto con una compañera de trabajo, el limite de edad para la competencia es 28 años. Evento organizado por el FEVAP (www.fevap.com) y con el patrocinio de FORD MOTORS y ALFONZO RIVAS. El lunes 14 de Mayo recibi el Brief del producto (FLIPS de Alfonzo Rivas) y el reto era convertir el empaque de flips en un vehiculo promotor de talentos artisticos de la escena actual Venezolana, convirtiendo el empaque en una pieza de arte que perdure en el tiempo. Exitosamente logré conseguir el 1er lugar en la competencia y ganarme el pasaje a la competencia mundial de YOUNG CREATIVES LIONS CANNES 2012 en la ciudad de Cannes (Francia) el 17 de Junio estare llegando para competir en la misma categoria representando al pais.
Organized by the FEVAP (www.fevap.com) and sponsored by FORD MOTORS and Alfonzo Rivas. On Monday May 14th and I received my pair Product Brief (FLIPS Cereal Alfonzo Rivas) and the challenge was to make the packaging a vehicle promoter artistic talents of the current Venezuelan scene, making the package a piece of art endure over time. Successfully managed to get 1st place in the competition and earn a ticket to the global competition CANNES LIONS 2012 Young Creatives in the city of Cannes (France) on June 17th I will be coming to compete in the same category representing the country. This is the first time in Venezuela given this competition.

Un mes despues fui seleccionado por el Comite Asesor de la BID12 en Venezuela integrado por: Carlos Rodriguez, Alvaro Sotillo e Ignacio Urbina e invitado por la Bienal Iberoamericana de Diseño 2012 en Madrid.
La BID es una muestra de Diseño Iberoamericano que se celebra cada dos años en Madrid, convocada y organizada por la Central de Diseño y Dimad, y es una de las citas más importantes de promoción del diseño contemporáneo que se realiza en Latinoamérica, España y Portugal. Incluye una gran Exposición y una Zona de encuentro y pensamieto. Inscribi esta pieza fui Seleccionado y logre la MENCIÓN BID bajo el jurado formado por Leimei Julia Chiu, Steven Heller, Giancarlo Latorraca, Santiago Miranda, Kohei Nishiyama, Oscar Peña y Ake Rudolph como uno de los mejores proyectos en representacion de mi pais (Venezuela). Como tal, formará parte físicamente de la Exposición de la III Bienal Iberoamericana de Diseño y la exposicion se inaugurará el 26 de noviembre próximo y terminará a finales de febrero de 2013, en la Central de Diseño del Matadero de Madrid.
Gracias al colectivo de artistas Concept-McCann Caracas logre participar en la BID12.
A month later I was selected by the advisory committee composed BID12 in Venezuela: Carlos Rodriguez, Alvaro Sotillo and Ignacio Urbina and invited by the Latin American Design Biennial 2012 in Madrid.
The BID is a sample of Latin American design that is held every two years in Madrid, convened and organized by the Central Design and Dimad, and is one of the most important events of contemporary design promotion taking place in Latin America, Spain and Portugal . Includes a great exhibition and a meeting area and pensamieto. Signed this piece was selected and achieved under the BID MENTION jury Leimei Julia Chiu, Steven Heller, Giancarlo Latorraca, Santiago Miranda, Kohei Nishiyama, Oscar Peña and Ake Rudolph as one of the best projects on behalf of my country (Venezuela) . As such, it forms part of the exhibition physically the Third Biennial of Design and the exhibition will open on 26 November and will end in February 2013, in the Central Design Slaughterhouse Madrid.
Thanks to the group of artists Caracas Concept-McCann's ability to participate in the BID12.
