Ladies and gentlemen, Einstein was right! After almost 100 years, LIGO scientists from all over the world were able to detect the existence of black holes in the universe in 2015. The following illustration was created to commemorate and celebrate this achievement with my LIGO friends from Georgia Tech, Atlanta. The gravitational wave is an exact depiction of the wave discovered by the LIGO team, that helped prove Einstein's theory of Gmunu = 0.
