As shrewd as any two bit advertising executive, HESUS JOY CHRIST puts images to work establishing the divine role of marriage as put forth in Pope John Paul II's 'Theology of the Body'.
Personal concrete references to the life of the filmmaker flesh out the first five episodes of HESUS JOY CHRIST. Matthew's Two Four, based on the twenty-fourth chapter of Matthew, which is about the signs of the end of the age, is the beginning of this series, as the beginning end of this age of HESUS JOY CHRIST. Matthew's One Too ! is from the first chapter of the Gospel of Matthew and lists the matrigeneosophy of the matriarchal influences before continuing on to the story of the conception of marriage. Matthew’s Two , relating to the second chapter of the Gospel of Matthew, which is the story of the Wise Men and the escape to Egypt, becomes the story of the marriage relationship preparing to be acknowledged.
The animation is fully coloured simple line drawings, carrying the story that although simple, bears considerable consideration.
