BlackBerry Concierge
Part of a Keynote presentation at the BlackBerry Developers Conference, San Francisco 2009
BlackBerry Concierge, a context based concept, written in HTML/JavaScript, was demonstrated in November 2009 at the BlackBerry Developer's Conference (DevCon) held in San Francisco.   Later, based on a "Super Apps" webinar for developers, numerous bloggers speculated that this new look would be part of a future BlackBerry OS. This was documented in Engadget, BerryScoop, RIMarkable, and IntoMobile.  In 2010, Microsoft unveiled Windows Phone which featured a similar "live tile" design. Visual Design by Jason Wilson.  Related patents: Method, system and apparatus for processing content data at a computing device, and Methods and apparatus to display mobile device contexts.
