This project has as main inspiration the work of the Portuguese artist Alexandre Farto "Vhils". The artist explores the experimentalism and the aesthetics of the vandalism in saturated urban environments. His work is a reflection on about public spaces and demand of the first memories he had of the art in the community space - the graffiti of the nineties. This type of art was a need for Men to express themselves in their environment. So Vhils explores the facial expressions of unknown people integrated in their social environments. This ideology is transported to the pieces by exploiting layers that will be removed, constructed and deconstructed until a new pure form. As well as our social environment, we are also composed by overlapping layers. Through this standardization process, the upper layers are removed and we get greater equality in society.
