DeLos Vodka Entertainment Plaza
Revitalization of Downtown Dallas For Temporary Use
In the spring of 2012, I completed this project in my graduate architecture studio along with another student, Clayton Arnal, and an associate of DeLos Vodka who he knew.  The goal of the project was to develop a four block section of Dallas near Hwy. 75 for temporary use and to provide as much revenue as possible.  The idea was that a large developer would eventually come along and build sky scrapers on the site years down the road.  But in the mean time, we were suppose to build temporary structures that could produce money for small time investors immediately.  I think it was an interesting project because not only did we have to think short term in terms of building types, but we also had to incorporate a future mass transit stop as well to promote sustainability and the well being of the surrounding enviroment.  Our proposal is below.
