The Design Jones Talks
The Design Jones is a series of podcasts featuring the top of the pops of the UK Creative Industry.
One-to-one interviews spanning the industries spectrum of talent including Designers,
Developers and Illustrators to name but a few express their views and opinions behind their work.
I was asked by Ade to create a poster that encapsulates the spirit and brand of The Design Jones.

My approach was simple, I wanted to convey how the interviews can help the listeners sharpen
their knowledge, yet also unlock their potential. To figure out how to visualise these values I began researching
possible approaches, this lead me to exploded diagrams. An abstract exploded diagram of a lock mixed
with a pencil sharperner then came to life.
To partner the exploded diagram visual I also wanted to introduce an element of 'gig poster' style, this was to convey
the talent involved in the TDJs first year success. Each interview had it's star name and also the duration of their talk.
