For this project I worked with Rachel King.
The task was to create a direct mail piece to promote a free summer event organised by the local city council, and we decided to do a series of drive in movies over the summer period.
Our concepts for this were bright, summer colours that were inviting and attractive.
We produced:
•1 DVD case holding a single disk
•1 Outer case (protection)
•1 Disk
•1 Ticket with details of event (not required for entry)
•1 Poster with map and directions on reverse and event info
•1 Token for free popcorn
•1 Address sticker for postage
My main contributions to this project was the dieline and packaging areas. I also helped with one of the art designs and colour schemes. I created the token and address labels using shapes and patterns from our art designs.
Towards the end of the project time I got all of the items together and checked for inconsistencies throughout each design set and across all 3 sets.
