The Usual, with a twist.
This is a shot of Whitby abbey, from the pond, a shot that every photographer takes. I decided rather than do the usual with a standard lens, I used my 10mm Fisheye for a more wider look, due to the time of the day, but decided to make this part of the photo, it was a really warm day, and wanted to capture that look within this shot. Hopefully this shot will be featured on some English Heritage postcards, although nothing has yet been finalised.
Between the storms.
I had been to visit a friend and thought I'd have a stop in Whitby on my way home, I decided to go back to the car and head home when the light become beautiful, and a break in the rain, so decided to take a few shots, very pleased with this and another one of my personal favourite shots.
My two dogs.
Here's a shot of my two dogs, shot on a beautiful morning in June. Meet Holly & Charlie.
A storm out to sea.
Had a bit of a window between rain storms, when I shot this, testing out my new wide angle lens at the time, and my mirrorless camera.
