All these pictures were taken in Sakania, Democratic Republic of the Congo.  I spent four years working there.  I got to know the country and more importantly the people.  The congolese are beautiful people with amazing souls.  I tried to capture their hearts during every day life.  The day I climbed onto the plane to leave the DRC for good, my heart was wrenched. A day never goes by without me wishing to hear their songs once more.
