General Electric Washer Interface

Here we have the original General Electric washing machine interface, which is confusing and cluttered with too many buttons and options. It's hard to pick what you need. I wanted to make the process of washing clothes much simpler and easy to use and re-use again. So I redesigned the interface to be more user-friendly.
My idea branched from the simplicity of Apple's interface and applied the same concepts to the washer machine interface. The left side shows you the time remaining for your wash cycle and all of the options and then once you select which options you like, it shows them beside them. The right side is the touch screen and there are only sliders and arrows to choose from so it doesn't become complicated or cluttered.

You also have the option to just repeat your last wash cycle without having to reset all of the washing options. The arrows turn green when you are able to move forward in the cycle selection.
After choosing the load size, the selection shows up on the left side of the screen so that way you can see what you have selected and continue through the options.
By locking the options, you save them for future washes so that way you don't have to re-enter the information. And then once completed, it shows you the alloted time for the cycle to be completed as well as all of the options you had selected.
You also have the option to pause the cycle if you forgot to add something, and then resume it.
