For this activity we had to make a composition of points, a composition of lines, and a composition of points & lines. The instructions were we could only use black and white and a base of 30x30 cm.
For the composition of points I wanted to create groups of points by their proximity. I made 6 groups of points, in each one there is a big point and small points that degrade. I used white foam board for the background and foami for the black pieces.
I wanted to make something different for the composition of lines, so I used black foamboard for the background and white foami for the pieces. In this composition I wanted to show balance, there is the same weight on both sides of the piece even though the center lines are not the same.
In this composition I wanted to show continuation, there is 2 points on opposite sides of the background and I wanted to make the eye follow the lines from one point to the other one.
