Challenge:
General Electric would like a series of brochures in order to emerge into the Korean market. They have several different departments within the company they would like to communicate about. The series would include information about their aviation technology, medical technology, and their consumer products.
Solution:
I created the brochures using flowers to tie in elements from the Korean culture. The aviation brochure uses the national flower the hibiscus to communicate innovation. The brochure communicates their fuel economy technologies that help to make travel less expensive. The medical imaging has been a huge part of GE since their early development as a company. I used the lotus flower to communicate longevity and health.  The consumer products brochure has information about their camera line. I used the rose to symbolize family. These brochures start with a letter from the CEO. The first spread is about the care GE puts into their customers. The last spread communicates the special features of their products.
