Anorexia is a life-threatening disease, with horrific consequences. Some people starve themselves to death. My focus has been with the emotional aspects of anorexia. What people think, and how they feel. There are so many confusing thoughts when you suffer with anorexia.
The feeling of being in absolute control is a major factor. Most people who suffer from anorexia are teenagers. It is during these years that peer pressure is at its height. You can care too much about what other people think and most of all, you just need to fit in!
