This was the first project where production planning was needed to ensure the designs cater the bleed,  the book spine and size requirements. Puffin Books' submission highlights that the finished PDF should include the marks and be compressed enough for the website to upload.  In response to this, Illustrator was used to help me optimise the finished illustration. However, this did not limit my creative thinking and style when producing the work. 

 This book design focuses on the sense of isolation inspired by Dorothea Lange photography.  It features typography and signs to form a design inspired by the 1960's culture.
