Having the chance to work with Garmin Sailing has been a great experience. Our latest project with them was these polo shirts that were featured in their 2015 sailing catalogue. The shirts were chosen for maximum comfort, durability, and breathability.  The shirts were made with 100% double knit polyester mesh with stay-cool wicking technology. The shirts would be worn on a active sailing ship, so material was very important on this project. Bizzib Design has 3 different shirt printing processes; Screen Printing, Vinyl, and Sublimation. With a job like this we had to take into consideration where it would be worn, how it would be worn and what color the garment was. With dark polyester sublimation is nearly impossible as we are unable to print white. Due to the fact these shirts would be sweated in, and being stretched out screen-printing was the best bet. 

 

Due to the fact the shirts were black, a 3 color press was needed starting with a white under base. From there the Blue and grey were screened on top. With both front and back printing a total of 6 screens were needed to complete this job. 

 

The design of the shirt was chosen to be simple, clean and professional. The front has is a corporate style polo with the logo on the left chest 3.5 inches wide. Where as the back has the Garmin logo stretched vertically covering the entire left side of the back.
