I created this photo for the Canon photo 5 competition. The brief was to create an image that captured the world through a pets eyes. This sparked the thought, "why do dogs chew shoes?". This photo is the result of how I feel a dog sees the world, in this case shoes = food.
To create this shot I set up a scene in my apartment with reflectors, a softbox and 430 exii speed light. I covered my Supra shoe with glad wrap then added the meat on top. I used Photoshop and Nik software for basic colour correction and to remove any blemishes.
