The illustration of the transformation of an organic body into a digital identity using usual photography in combination with 3D scanning technology.

Two cameras are be used: a full frame DSLR (Nikon D610) and the depth camera Microsoft’s Kinect for capturing and rendering the experimental 3D-model. Two images from exactly the same angle are used for generating the 3D hybrid.
-  The DSLR shoots directly into a computer using Capture One.
-  For the 3D model I used an open source tool written in the programming language Processing to capture the depth image of the Kinect and generate a 3D model. I modified the tool which allowed me to take images using a wireless computer mouse for remote control.
